MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF READYMADE GARMENTS
The process involves the following steps:-
Demand/bleach / printed cotton/synthetic fabrics are demanded to be purchased from the open market. Before cutting the fabric will be inspected against the light by laying it on the table of inspection so that there is a visible unevenness in the color/shade or any other defects if any in the fabric.
Cutting and stitching:
The inspected fabric is placed in layers on the cutting table and then the individual parts of the respective cloth are demarcated by chalk according to different sizes. Cutting is done by cutting machine. Overlock, lock sewing machine, etc. are stitched for the individual part of clothing by skilled workers.
Washing, Checking, Pressing, and Packing:
To remove dirt and stains obtained in the manufacturing process in the cloth, clothes are washed in the washing machine for about 4 hours with mild detergent. After washing, the clothes are hydro-extracted to remove excess water and after that, these clothes are dried in a tumbler dryer. A final check is carried out before pressing and packing on the checking table to remove any defect in the piece and to eliminate threading. The ready clothes received from the finishing process are packed in cardboard boxes.
Fabrics of various colors/designs are cut according to the required size, shape, and design. The cut pieces are then sewn with the help of an overlock and sewing machine. Button holing, button stitching, hook attachments, etc. are usually done thereafter. The finished clothes are then pressed and packaged for sale.
